Packaging Information:
 
Since 1997 we got thousands of stone samples from all over the world.
Having observed the incoming packages and damages, we can give you some tips for packaging:

Please send the samples sized 16 x 21 cm (but not smaller, this is the minimum size for us to take good pictures).
This will save shipping costs and also lower the risk of fracture, compared with tiles of 30.5 x 30.5 cm.
 
And this is the optimal packaging :
 
1 sample Wrap the sample twice with three layers of bubble wrap (one lenghtwise and one across).
Then in a solid cardboard box. Any cavities please fill with styrofoam plates (no chips).
   
2 to 9 samples

Always protect surfaces with cardboard or heavy paper and wrap maximal 3 samples with tape to a compact "block".
Wrap the "block" twice with three layers of bubble wrap (one lenghtwise and one across).
Then in a solid cardboard box. Any cavities please fill with styrofoam plates (no chips).
   
more than 9 samples Please distribute among 2 or more packages.
   
 
All this will help ensure that your natural stone samples arrive in good condition, and to make sure the costs of preparing, packaging and shipping the samples are not in vain.
